Live Tech. Love Life. is our flagship talent attraction advertising campaign aimed at positioning Calgary as the only place where you can truly live tech and love life: do meaningful, industry-disrupting work and enjoy an unparalleled quality of life. This talent attraction campaign was created to change perceptions of the city, in turn making outside talent more willing to relocate to Calgary. There are over 2,000 open tech positions in our city and multiple companies have voiced the need to bring more tech talent to Calgary so that these tech companies can continue to grow.

The target audience for the campaign is tech talent, from recent grads to senior professionals and every level in between, across local, national and international markets. The Live Tech. Love Life. website is the landing point for the target audience to learn more not only about the campaign, but also the potential that Calgary holds.

The Live Tech. Love Life. website is creatively innovative because it parallels technology terms such as “cloud computing” with related lifestyle imagery and actions such as hiking. Live Tech. Love Life. also takes an innovative approach to talent attraction by emphasizing Calgary’s beneficial factors such as space, nature, commuting and other aspects of quality of life that established tech hubs lack. The website also showcases the Calgary tech ecosystem and tech companies that are hiring.
