  About Project

Launched in 2010, the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum uses the natural affinity between kids and pets to teach social-emotional learning skills like empathy, self-confidence, teamwork, and decision-making. The Curriculum was developed by Yale University’s School of the 21st Century and The Pet Savers Foundation,™ the program development arm of North Shore Animal League America (NSALA). NSALA asked HelpGood to redesign and develop the program's website to better highlight the impact of the curriculum, improve the user experience for educators to access the materials, and to ultimately help make a positive difference in the lives of homeless animals. HelpGood worked with a cross-disciplinary team of designers, UX, UI and engineers, to rebuild and launch the site. After launch, the site saw a 30% increase in users, a 40% increase in sessions, a 40% increase in pageviews, a 40% increase in session duration and a decrease in the bounce rate all compared to the same period in the prior year.
